Create an account and save your login details
Use the link below to open the Popovpn user panel. Make sure you're on the account creation page, not this guide. Follow the prompts to enter a username and password, then submit. No email address is required. Choose a username that's easy to recognize but doesn't reveal your identity publicly. Use a unique password and store it in a trusted password manager.
Once you're done, continue to plan selection if the panel opens your account overview. If you see a login page, sign in with the username and password you just saved. If you already have an account, there's no need to create another one; select “Log in” at the top to access it. Keeping your plan, orders, and subscription in one account makes it easier to find payment records or submit a support ticket later.
At this stage, just set up your account. You don't need to look for a subscription link yet or enter your username and password in the client. Your panel login is for managing your account; the subscription configuration is what the client uses to retrieve routes. Once your plan status is confirmed, get your subscription using the steps below.
First Month FreeChoose a plan and confirm payment
After signing in, open the plans section in the panel. Check the billing terms first, then compare data allowances. Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets each month on your activation date. If you use the service regularly, choose based on your actual browsing, downloads, and video streaming needs rather than device count alone. Popovpn allows unlimited devices online at once, but all usage on the same account counts toward the plan's data allowance.
If your usage varies, consider a data package: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data packages don't expire and remain available until used, unlike monthly plans, which reset each month on your activation date. Before paying, double-check the plan, price, and data allowance, especially whether you've selected a monthly plan or a data package. See the plans page for full pricing and terms.
Once you've chosen a plan, create an order in the panel and pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. When payment is complete, return to the panel and check the order and plan status. Don't assume activation just because the payment page has closed. If the payment provider shows the payment as complete but the panel hasn't updated yet, check the original order first to avoid creating and paying for a duplicate.
Popovpn offers a 30-day refund policy. See the refund policy for details. If you upgrade a monthly plan before it expires, the price difference is converted into the remaining days; it doesn't restart a full billing period. Once the panel shows your plan details, continue to the next step to get your subscription.
Choose this planFind your subscription link in the account overview
Open the account overview in the user panel and check your current plan and available data first. Then look for the subscription section. If the panel offers an import option for your client, follow the prompts to open the app. To import manually, use the option to copy the subscription link. Button labels vary, so follow what the panel shows. Don't look for a replacement link in blogs, chat logs, or other websites.
A subscription link isn't a regular website URL. It lets your client retrieve the route configuration for your account, so copy the whole link, including any parameters at the end. Don't delete any characters or paste it into a search engine. Paste it into the client's subscription URL field, not a route name, server address, or notes field.
To see what a subscription link looks like, refer to the example below. It's a fictional teaching example: it won't connect and can't replace the real subscription in your panel. For actual use, copy the link from your own account overview only.
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
Treat your subscription link like a password. Don't post it in public forums or share screenshots that show the full link with strangers. When contacting support, you can share the error message and a redacted screenshot; there's no need to include the full subscription link. After copying it, keep the panel open and go to the downloads area to get a client for your device.
View subscriptionInstall a client and import your subscription
Get clients from the downloads area in the user panel; this guide doesn't provide direct download links. You can download clients for Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux after signing in, even if you haven't purchased a plan. Downloading a client and connecting are separate steps: before connecting, make sure your account has an active plan and subscription. The iOS download option requires a purchased, unexpired plan; follow the instructions in the panel.
We recommend using the Popovpn client and its accompanying instructions from the panel. If you use a compatible third-party client, first make sure it supports the subscription format provided by the panel. An “Import” button alone doesn't guarantee compatibility. If the panel offers one-click import to Clash Plus, try that option first; otherwise, use the client's manual subscription import feature.
Get the clientWindows: Add a subscription or configuration
In the downloads area, choose the Windows client, install it as prompted, and open it. Look for Subscription Management, Configuration Management, or Add Configuration. Choose the option to import from a link, paste the complete subscription URL you copied, and add a label you can recognize. Save it, then update or download the configuration.
After importing, you should see a configuration name and a list of routes. Set the new configuration as active, then choose a route. Adding a configuration without activating it usually won't connect you. If the client asks to enable the system proxy, follow its instructions. For now, don't run other proxy tools at the same time; otherwise, your browser may use a different configuration and make the test results hard to interpret.
macOS: Save the configuration and allow network settings
In the panel's downloads area, choose the macOS client, install it as prompted, and launch it. Open the configuration or subscription page and look for an option such as Add Remote Configuration or Import from URL. Paste the subscription link and save it. If the app supports one-click import from the panel, your browser may ask to open the app. Check that the app name is correct before continuing.
Return to the client and check that the new configuration has downloaded, then switch to it. The first connection may require permission to add a network configuration or change system proxy settings. Read the system prompt before confirming. Seeing the app icon in the menu bar doesn't mean you're connected; check that the client shows an active connection before testing a website.
Android: Import your subscription and connect
Sign in to the panel and download the Android client from the downloads area. If Android asks whether to allow app installs from this source, first verify that the file came from the panel, then follow the system prompts to install it. Open the app, go to its configuration or subscription section, and choose the option to add from a link. Paste and save the subscription URL. If importing from the clipboard, check that it contains the link you just copied.
Once the update is complete, select the new configuration, choose an exit route from the list, and connect. Android may ask for permission to establish a VPN connection; confirm, then return to the app and check its status. If you switch to another proxy or VPN app, it may replace the current connection. Keep the client you're testing active and avoid switching between similar apps.
iOS: Get and add a subscription through the panel
Sign in to the panel with an account that has a purchased, unexpired plan. Use the iOS download option to get the client from the App Store as prompted. If you don't meet the download requirements yet, check your plan status in the account overview. Don't choose an app in the store based only on a similar name, and don't enter your account password in a client from an unverified source.
After installing the app, look for Subscription, Configuration, or Add from URL. Paste and save your subscription link, then update it. If the panel offers one-click import for the app, follow the browser prompts to open the app and confirm the import. When connecting, follow the iOS prompts to allow a VPN configuration and authorize it on your device. Then return to the client and check that the connection is on and a route is selected.
Choose a route and test access
Choose an exit route from the client's route list and connect. The client shows the available regions, cities, and route types; don't assume that a region guarantees access to every website. Test one route first, then switch if needed. Changing routes repeatedly makes it harder to identify the cause of a problem or tell whether it's the route or the target service.
First, open a website you can normally access to confirm your device's internet connection is working. Then visit the website you actually want to use. A connected status in the client only means the connection is on; it doesn't confirm that the target site is accessible. If the site loads, test the feature you need in the target app—for example, opening a session, loading content, or completing a normal request—instead of checking only whether the home page appears.
If your browser works but another app can't connect, check whether that app has its own proxy settings and whether the client's routing mode covers it. Command-line tools, IDE plugins, and API clients don't always inherit your browser or system proxy settings. Don't keep switching network modes just to test. For these cases, see the network setup and API configuration sections in the complete guide to accessing AI tools.
If none of your target sites work, check these in order: whether your plan is active, whether the subscription updated successfully, whether the right configuration is selected, whether a route is selected, and whether the system allows the connection. Change one thing at a time, then reload the target page and check again. If the issue persists, see the region information in the route list, then submit a ticket through the user panel with your platform, client name, error message, and the step where the problem occurred.
Once you've confirmed the connection works, keep the current configuration. To add another device later, sign in to the panel on that device, download a client, and import your subscription; there's no need to create another account. Popovpn allows unlimited devices, but you still need to check the connection on each one. A working connection on one device doesn't configure the others automatically.
